Mitzvah #166 - Marrying one's father's wife

One is not allowed to marry one's father's wife, even after one's father died or divorced her - and even of she is not one's mother.

One who has relationships with their father's wife deserves to be stoned to death by Bet Din.

By Rabbinic decree this includes grandfathers' wives as well.

Applies to everybody, everywhere, always.

Verse: "The nakedness of your father's wife you shall not uncover" (Vayikra 18:8)
